Finley is a BIG help.......in some interesting ways!

First I will start with the story of the broken wash machine.....Spencer had started a load of laundry and in the middle of the cycle the washer stopped spinning. Of course this happens when we are trying to get out the door, (I am never on time for anything). So we quickly take all the clothes out and put them in the bath tub with clean water because there is still soap on them and if you leave wet clothes out in Florida they will get moldy. Then put the kids in the car and head to our friends to be watched and head out for our date.
Later that night we picked the kids up and came home. Finley said he had to go to the bathroom, so I said go ahead and tell me when your done. (He has a little potty that he uses and I help wipe) A couple minutes later I hear water splashing, I head to the bathroom to find Finley naked in the bathtub with our soaking clothes.
He excitedly exclaims while jumping in the water, "I POOPED!"
I look down at his potty to find nothing. AHHH, I ask FInley, "where did you poop?"
"Right here," as he points to the wet clothes.
Finley likes to tease me so I say, "you are just pulling me leg?.....(no answer)....right?"
"No, right here!" with a big smile on his face.
Lucky we have parents that live close by to wash our clothes and lucky my husband can fix anything. Spencer replaced a broken piece on our washer and we didn't have buy a new washer and we wont have to wear pooped on clothes

Next story, I asked Finley to pick up his stickers before bed. He says ok and after a few minutes I realize it is a little too quiet. I go into his bedroom to find this :)

Last story, I asked Finley if he wanted to help me do the dishes and I leave the room and come back to this:

I guess doing dishes naked it better :)

The Beach in December!

One of the things about living in Florida is you get to go to the beach ALL year long :)
Haven and Finley loved it. Finley loved playing in the water and Haven loved eating all the sand.

Father and Son's Campout

The weekend before Thanksgiving was father and son's campout. Tanner surprised his brothers by coming down early to go. While the boys were out camping the girls painted toe nails and watched Frozen. Spencer said they had perfect weather and Finley did great, went into his tent and went to sleep for the night :)

 Best Buds!

How many Smith boys does it take to put up a tent?

 "OOOOO yummy, Slurp"

So cute!

View of our weekend in Palm Coast

This weekend my mom and Dave had a wedding to go to and so we offered to watch their house and dogs. It was like a vacation for us. Finley ran around all day chasing Fudgee in the yard, Haven had a quiet area to get some shut eye, Spencer had a desk to study on and I got to catch up on stuff. We all got to go on a bike ride in Washington State Park and play on the coquina at the beach. Finley did not want to leave be they both started turning blue so we had to pry him from the coquina. So much fun and we will definitely be back!

I couldn't decide on which pictures because they are all so cute so there is alot :)

Just being monkey, hanging around

Thanks Pumpa for the swing!

Finley is such a good climber, Spencer thinks he is going to be a professional

So precious!

Love this one! He is just so handsome
