These last couple of weeks have flown by and in these last couple weeks Finley seems so much bigger to me. Finley has learned how to swim better and he has also taught himself how to go pee and poo on the potty. We came home from the birth center and I took his pants off of him for some reason and he sat down on his little potty and went poop. Then he came and told us and hasn't had an accident yet.....well no accidents when he has no pants. We are still learning how to take our pants off. But he is potty trained before his second birthday.
Finley also loves to read books about animals, so every week when we go to the library we get books about alligators, rhinos, hippos, lions, ants, bugs and ponies :) I know I am his mom and I might be bias but I think he is so smart, he can name almost any animal, understands what you say to him, can count to three, knows some of his colors, knows his shapes and loves to play make believe; he even brought his "cat" to his doctor appointment. He also loves to run and tickle and hop on pop. Finley is so special and sweet. He is can be very sensitive but also very brave, no fear; like his dad. We feel so blessed to be his parents, even though I think he teaches us more then I could ever teach him. I can't believe he is two, I never want him to grow up and not say night night to him every night.
For his birthday Grandma got fun party favors and animals party hats. Family came to our pool to swim and eat cake. It was not the nicest day but we got in the pool and had a blast. I don't think Finley really understood that it was his birthday but he sure enjoyed eating his candy cake :)
